Series 1 / Big Wind, Big River, Big Fish / Argentina / Sea Trout

Big vistas, painted by honey coloured hills weathered over time by high winds and arid conditions, the Rio-Gallegos winds its way through the valley. Where the river slows, silt has deposited and made it possible for the wildlife to drink. This prolific sea trout river provides Kathryn with ample opportunity to spey cast big flies as she employs the “step and cast” technique required to cover big water quickly. She takes a well deserved rest and stumbles upon some ancient cave paintings, just one of many memorable experiences enjoyed in the land of the asado.
