When is a bass not a bass?... When it is a cichlid of course! Peacock bass have many of the bass attributes like a gaping mouth and an affinity to take a surface popper. But they are not part of the bass family. In this episode Kathryn lands on a private air strip deep in the amazon and fishes for peacock bass on the Agua Boa River. She manages to land a giant of the species called the temensis.
