Series 4 / Land of Fire and Ice / Iceland / Sea Trout

Iceland is situated over the Mid Atlantic Ridge. It's volcanic presence is evident everywhere in the land of fire and ice. More than 12% of the country is made up of glaciers and icecaps and as they melt the many low land rivers swell which signals to the Sea Trout that it is time for them to leave the ocean and head up river to their spawning beds. Along the way, in their excitement to be back home, you see them playfully jumping and jockeying for position. They are careless and eager to take a fly and Kathryn is amazed that the typically shy and weary Sea Trout has not yet lost its silvery armor nor its ability to haul line back out towards whence it came.
